JWSD will be flushing hydrants April 16, 2013 – May 21, 2013. This is a procedure to reduce and remove the accumulation of sediments in the water mains. Although you may experience water discoloration, the water is safe for consumption. We suggest that you refrain from washing light-colored clothes if you have discolored water.
Flushing will begin on April 16, 2013 on the east side of the district as follows and will take approximately 3 to 4 weeks to complete:
